What is Spirit Day?
In October of 2010, Brittany McMillan started Spirit Day as a way to raise awareness for victims of bullying in the LGBT community. Promoted by GLAAD, the idea took off and many supporters from around the world participated in the very first Spirit Day on October 20th, 2010.
This year, 2012, the holiday falls on the 19th of October. :thumb332794090:
