A quick personal note:

Not that anyone noticed, but I recently took a short 1 month break from deviantART due to the passing of my Grandmother whom I was very close to. During my time away, I have lurked some and tried to keep up-to-date on some of the happenings around the site, but I do still have a stack of messages to go through, but I've had bigger piles before. Anyways, I'm hopefully back and will be trying to get involved a little more over the rest of this month.

So, what will I be getting my hands dirty with around the site in coming future? Well, there has been a lot going on over at seniormentors lately. LostKitten has been working her tail off trying to get the group pumped-up and going strong once again. With that, have come many changes to the group and things are still changing. Head over there and watch the group to find out more about the exciting things coming down the pipe! And, if you're a senior member of the deviantART community, I encourage you to join the group and get involved. It's going to be a blast!

I've been spending a lot of time lately watching videos from TED.com. TED is an organization that was developed to share and spread thoughts and ideas around the world. There are some truly amazing insights in the discussions that are happening on TED, and the talks keep me entertained while I work on my projects at work.

One TED Talk video I wanted to share with you today is from Marco Tempest. Marco is a magician and illusionist for the 21st century, he blends cutting-edge technology with the flair and showmanship of Houdini.
